Let's Get Cooking

Directions

Classic Mac

01     Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.

02     Meanwhile, in another saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

03     Stir in flour until smooth; gradually whisk in milk.

04     Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.

05     Add cheese; cook and stir until melted.

06     Stir in macaroni and sausage.

Skillet Mac

01     In a large nonstick skillet, cook and stir sausage over medium-high heat until browned; 3-5 minutes. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.

02     Bring 4-1/4 cups water to a boil in the same skillet.

03     Add pasta and boil for 8 minutes or until just tender, stirring occasionally. (Do not drain!)

04     In a bowl, combine the milk, hot pepper sauce and cornstarch; stir into pasta. Return to boil. Reduce heat; simmer and stir for about 2 minutes until slightly thickened.

05     Add cheeses; stir until melted.

06     Fold in sausage.

07     Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
