Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE® All Natural Fresh Italian Mild Ground Sausage or 1 package (19 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE® Fresh Italian Mild Sausage Links, casings removed
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • Spaghetti sauce, for serving
  • Spaghetti pasta, cooked
  • Chopped fresh basil or oregano, to garnish

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the egg, bread crumbs, cheese, milk and onion.
  3. Add sausage to the bread crumb mixture; mix well.
  4. Shape into 20 meatballs; arrange on a shallow baking pan.
  5. Bake until browned and completely cooked; about 20 minutes.
  6. Serve a favorite sauce and spaghetti.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh herbs.

Air Fryer Directions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400ºF.
  2. In a large bowl, combine egg, bread crumbs, cheese and onion.
  3. Add sausage to bread crumb mixture, mix well.
  4. Shape into 20 meatballs; arrange on a shallow baking pan.
  5. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until the internal temperature reached 160ºF.
  6. Serve with a favorite sauce and spaghetti.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh herbs.
