Start the morning off right with this outdoor savory cast iron skillet meal that’s great for breakfast, brunch or lunch.  Feed a crowd with this dish filled with Johnsonville® Smoked Rope Sausage, seasoned diced potatoes and Cheddar cheese.

15-MINUTE CAST IRON SKILLET HASH

Ingredients

  • 1 package (13.5 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE® Smoked Rope Sausage, cut into ¼-inch bias-slice pieces
  • 1 package (20 ounces) refrigerated seasoned diced potatoes with onions
  • 1 small yellow onion
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Salt, pepper and smoked paprika, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Melt butter in a 12-inch cast iron skillet; add the sausage, potatoes and onion. Season with the salt, pepper and paprika.
  3. Grill for about 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with cheese during the last 5 minutes of grilling.
